AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

The quartz point is by no means a rare sight in the panasqueira greisen alteration zone, actually it is the main gange mineral for this deposit, and as such, It is actually quite hard to find specimens without it. But you rarely get interesting-looking pieces in which the main focus point of the composition is the quartz. Fortunately, sometimes you get lucky and find a cute one that, for some reason, just looks nice. In this case, we found this pretty little thing on our last trip to one of my friend’s house close to where the mine is, and we purchased it in a lot along with other specimens. He showed it to us over a cup of coffee, and for some reason, my brother and I decided it was a keeper in less than a second. The piece itself is a typical ashy gray smoky quartz point with complex faces notably sharp at the corners that display fine luster and show a good transparency inside the crystal, which is aesthetically covered in one direction like a head of blonde hair by an even layer of creamy hazelnut colored siderite crystals with discoidal habits and excellent luster, over which have grown an abundance of greenish marcasite roses and small gemy white dolomite crystals that give the piece a nice touch.
Definitely not an unheard-of combination piece, but a very good example of it.
The piece is broken at the base, but excluding that, it is damage-free.
