Description from the seller

A Photographer's Life 1990 - 2005: a splendid selection of Leibovitz's work of the last fifteen years

Collectors-item / Must-have / Limited edition
Rare first-edition hardback so valuable

The images tell a story rich in contrasts and continuities: the photographer’s long relationship ends in illness and death. She chronicles the celebrations and heartbreaks of her large, robust family. All the while she is working, and the public work resonates with the themes of her life.

About the photobook:
Over 300 beautiful photographs of famous people including the pregnant Demi Moore, Nelson Mandela in Soweto, Jack Nicholson on Mulholland Drive, Bill Clinton in the Oval Office, William Burroughs in Kansas, and Agnes Martin in Taos; also personal photographs of Annie's family including the photograph of her father's death. The book is permeated with strong emotions. Leibovitz's passion for her family and friends is part of a larger passion that extends to the subjects of her professional work, and the two worlds meet thematically.

About the photographer:
Anna-Lou (Annie) Leibovitz (1949-) is an American photographer. Leibovitz graduated from the San Francisco Art Institute. In 1970 she started working for the Rolling Stone magazine. Since 1983 she has worked for the magazine Vanity Fair.

Condition: good copy with minor edge wear on cover (please see uploaded photos for more details)

More details: everyone will love this overzised (very richly illustrated) photobook.
Shipment: well packed and send with Track and Trace.
