AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Dadigur masker

Braided reed, clay, natural pigments
Used in ceremonies for transition rituals.
Purchased on site in the Blackwater region by the collector himself, somewhere between 1975 and 1980.
This mask has an extremely long nose compared to other masks of this type.
The mask was required to leave the village in a bag, to prevent children who had not yet undergone the ritual from seeing it. Since then, it has been in a private collection.
Condition: Piments are still very beautiful, finish is in less good condition, especially the nose.

The stand included is very basic and is meant to be placed on a riser. (Without the riser, the nose touches the ground.)

Delicate object - will be packed as well as possible for shipping. Pickup is also possible.
