A very important set consisting of three boxes: one in Napoleonic style, entirely in chased brass; a second in Napoleonic III style from the second half of the 1800s, square in wood, entirely chased in brass with a glass lid, and an interior like an ivory-colored silk quilt with silk borders; and a third in light walnut wood, rectangular in shape, embellished with inlays on the top and front.
The first is an important square box in Napoleon III style, made of wood, enriched with an elevated brass decoration.
Important is the cut crystal that makes up the upper part and the interior with an ivory-colored silk mattress that shows signs of age.
An important box carefully curated in detail is in good condition.
The beautiful brass chasing on the wood along the entire perimeter of the box.
Shows signs of age, and in some spots, the brass is missing, as shown in the photo, but nothing detracts from the beauty of the box; in fact, it proves its authenticity over the centuries.
The second is a precious box in the style of Napoleon I, notable for its craftsmanship, which differs from the usual in the market, made of opaline, glass, or wood, as it is entirely in brass, engraved along the entire circular perimeter with leaves that interlock to form a garland, and hieroglyphs running along the entire circumference.
In the style of Louis XVI, but entirely made of brass on all sides with a chasing work featuring leaves and hieroglyphs that form curls. This decoration is continuous along the entire perimeter, and the lid, made entirely of glass, opens by lifting it.
Careful in the details of the chasing, the opening point is very distinctive, characterized by two brass parts that protrude from the case.
Splendid, the cover composed of a brass ring, also chiseled, then a glass circle held by internal brass hooks.
The interior lining is made of fabric stained by time, and to complete the look, the upper part also features a cardboard rim covered in fabric.

The third box is a wonderful treasure chest from the mid-1800s, made of walnut with a rectangular shape, but embellished with four square-shaped feet and an inlaid top and front. The perimeter is smooth, except for the area where the key operates, which is characterized by a band of inlay at the bottom and on the two sides.
At the top, depicted are two windmills.
Beautiful, the working antique lock with a key that shows its age.
The interior is smooth with a light walnut color.

I found them at home along with all the other boxes I am selling, given the large quantity. Based on their condition, I deduce they have been kept with the utmost care. They are in good condition because of their age, and the brass at the base shows signs of age. In the first, a few centimeters of brass frame are missing, but that does not detract from the beauty of the box. The third one, I would say, is perfect.
I left them in their original state without polishing them, simply because of their beauty. I don't love shiny objects but those that, with their patina, convey their years and authenticity. If desired, the brass one can be polished to make it shine. It is all craftsmanship, and this attests to its value. Two splendid boxes, skillfully crafted with chasing work by artisans of a bygone era.
