P2 Brut is the most important product of the Dom Perignon maison, "brand" of Moët et Chandon; today it is probably the most famous company in the world for the production of champagne. The sparkling wine is made only with the best grapes from the best vineyards owned by Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, in the Grand Cru area of Champagne, vineyards located in the municipalities of Ay, Bouzy, Verzenay, Mailly and Hautvillers for the Pinot Noir, and from those of Cramant, Choully, Avize and Le Mesnil, for the Chardonnay. It is a vintage sparkling wine, as only grapes and therefore wines from a single vintage have been used in its production. The exceptional nature of Dom Pérignon Millesimati lies in their evolutionary process, which is not based on a mere linear path, but on specific expressive phases. These periods are called "Plénitudes", privileged moments in which the wine vibrates at higher and more intense frequencies. P2 is Dom Pérignon's Deuxième Plénitude, the result of 16 years of overall elaboration.
