PYE + VEB Funkwerk - PYE PTC-4001 type EM, Hi-Zi 2400 ohm [AND:] VEB Funkwerk Leipzig Crystal KM/T/St 7055. Microphone - Multiple models

A pair of beauties, a match made in heaven: One of the tallest desk microphones side by side with probably the smallest such microphone. A feast for the eyes in any collection or display. Both are from my private collection, built over many years, comprising of carefully hand-picked items, almost all in fine cosmetic and working condition. Both are tested and working! Here for sale are the following: -- PYE PTC-4001 type EM, Hi-Zi 2400 ohm desk microphone, AKA ''Tulip'', occasionally lovingly referred to as ''The Green Tulip''. Made by Pye Radio Works in England in early 1960's. Used mainly for police and navy communication, often with a matching console. Beautiful chrome shaft, Bakelite top and die-cast round metal base covered with matching Bakelite which is a bit edge rubbed and scratched. The original ''PYE'' emblem is neatly preserved. With working PTT. At the bottom of the base there is a terminal to which 5 wires are connected. THIS MICROPHONE COMES TOGETHER WITH: -- Rare VEB Funkwerk Leipzig Crystal microphone model KM/T/St 7055. Made in GDR 1950s. Often referred to as the ''Cookie'', and one needs not explain why... One of the smallest of its kind. Comes with the original detachable base. In fine cosmetic and audio quality. Tested and working! The original 3-pin plug has been saved to complete look and authenticity, but is not soldered to the cord. Matched together for life - do not let them be separated at their old age!
