Aangeboden wordt een topstuk van de Cambrische trilobiet: Ellipsocephalus hoffi.
Het is een steen met merdere exemplaren er op, zowel positief als negatief. Het grootste exemplaar is een positief (bol) exemplaar en meet 3 cm.
Ook op de achterkant zijn restanten van deze trilobietensoort te zien.
Ze zijn tegelijkertijd gestorven, mogelijk door een vergiftiging van het milieu of een modderstroom die hen bedekte.
Trilobieten zijn uitgestorven geleedpotigen.
Deze dieren leefden in zee in een zoutwaterhabitat.
Een mooie associatie en een prachtige momentopname van ruim 510 miljoen jaar geleden!

It is a stone with several specimens on it, both positive and negative. The largest specimen is a positive (rounded) specimen and measures 3 cm.
Remnants of this trilobite species can also be seen on the back.
They died at the same time, possibly due to environmental poisoning or a mudslide that covered them.
Trilobites are extinct arthropods.
These animals lived in the sea in a saltwater habitat.
