Storage trunk - Wood, Brass

This chest was given to me; I do not know its exact origin. The chest is made of wood, with strips of wood in varying shades arranged horizontally. It is decorated with brass nails forming floral or abstract patterns on the exterior surface. The top of the chest is domed, with a brass ornament at the summit. The front features three doors and a drawer with metal ring handles, also decorated with nail motifs. The interior is fully lined with bright green fabric, clean and in good apparent condition, with several plaques and handwritten inscriptions. The chest shows some superficial signs of wood wear but remains in good overall condition. The metal fittings have slight tarnishing due to age, with no visible advanced corrosion. The chest is mounted on four round wooden feet.
