Ancient Roman bronze fibula, beautifully decorated with the image of a lion (toga pin).
It's rare and stylish to still have the original pin in place, completely intact!
It can still be used without breaks or repairs.
Material: Bronze / Green patina

Origin
Acquired by the current owner in 2004 in Italy, in the art and antiques market.
Collected since: 1970s.
Previous owner history: private collection of a former collector, formed in 1970.
