Italy; Promotional set Clan Celentano; 4 items: 1960s Lenci felt dolls and 2 Adriano Celentano 45 rpm records, made of felt and vinyl, condition Very good, with original box.
Description from the seller
Two felt dolls by Lenci are present in the Canneto sull'Oglio Toy Museum in Mantova.
Cardboard dimensions: 10.5 x 20 cm.
Cylinder size: 16.5 cm.
Silhouette of dolls in printed Lenci felt, contained in a transparent plastic bag and supported by a cardboard.
The two dolls wear mini-trapezoid dresses, very fashionable in the mid-1960s, and tall felt boots.
Annotations: The cardboard has the Lenci brand printed on it, along with the words 'Clan of the young' and 'The girl Shake.' A satin cord is attached to the cardboard for hanging.
It is a promotional gadget inspired by Adriano Cementano's Clan.
Il Clan was the record label that the artist founded in 1961.
In 1964, for the release of Milena Cantù's record (who was his girlfriend at the time), Celentano created a mysterious character who is never seen face-to-face: La ragazza del Clan. At the same time, demonstrating a perfect understanding of advertising mechanisms and the media world, he had the Ribelli sing a song titled 'Chi sarà la ragazza del Clan?', resulting in the 45 RPM record of the impenetrable girl from the Clan selling about 500,000 copies.
N.2 45 RPM records by Adriano Celentano.
- 24,000 Baci (Side B 'Auli' Ule'') first edition in original case (slight defects) of the record dated 25-1-1961 (the year in which Celentano, with 24,000 Baci, ranked 2nd at the Sanremo Festival - held from January 26 to February 6, 1961)
- A 30-floor tree (side B 'Maybe you were better than her') in perfect original custody dated 21-04-1972.
