Roman spintriae are believed to have been used as tokens or counters .They may have served as admission tickets to brothels, sexual entertainment venues, or as tokens exchanged for sexual services, but its exact function is still a subject of study and debate.
Diameter: ± 28,6 mm
Condition: Very fine condition with good detail. Extremely rare token. Signs of wear consistent with age and use.
Certificate of Authenticity: available upon request (pdf-format).
