Excellent and very rare medieval lead plaque engraved with a heraldic eagle.
Northern Germany
Date: 6th-8th centuries AD
Condition: Very good, see photo.
Size: diameter of 24 mm
Weight 11.16 grams.
The patina of this ring is truly beautiful, making it a remarkable piece of jewelry.
Acquired by the current owner in 2004 in Madrid (Spain) at the Art and Antiques Fair.
Collected since: 1970s.
Previous owner history: Former private collection of Spanish collector.
The seller will ensure that all necessary permits are processed.
No shipments are made outside the EU.
