Drei historische Kutschen- / Automobil-Seitenlaternen (ca. 1880–1910)
Messing, Glas, Blech, drei unterschiedliche Stielvarianten

Beschreibung
Ein seltenes Konvolut aus 3 originalen Laternen für Pferdekutschen bzw. frühe Automobile.
Alle drei mit klassischer Bull’s-Eye-Frontlinse, seitlichen Positionsfenstern und Kaminhauben.
Besonders interessant: jede Laterne zeigt eine andere Bauweise des Stiels/Tanks.

Variante A: langer Metallstiel mit Federmechanik (für festen Sitz des Einsatzes).

Variante B: Laterne mit herausnehmbarem Messing-Tank (Font); Gewinde für Dochtbrenner erhalten.

Variante C: Laterne mit Holzstiel, historisch verschraubt (wohl zeitgenössische Reparatur).

Historischer Hintergrund
Diese Laternen wurden zwischen 1880 und 1910 an Kutschen und frühen Automobilen verwendet.
Sie dienten als Positions- und Orientierungslicht, betrieben mit Petroleum/Paraffinöl.

Merkmale: Steckstiele für Wagenhalterungen, Bull’s-Eye-Linsen zur Lichtbündelung, seitliche Gläser für Sichtbarkeit von hinten/seitlich, abnehmbare Fonts zum Nachfüllen.

Zustand
Authentischer, gebrauchter Zustand.
Eine Laterne mit Glasrissen: Frontglas (Bull’s-Eye) mit Riss; Seitenglas mit Pferde-Motiv mit kleinem Riss.

Alle Seitengläser sonst vorhanden, Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren (Kratzer, Blindstellen).
Lack/Japanlack berieben, Messing angelaufen, Dellen/Kratzer.

Variante A: alte Paraffin-/Wachsverkrustungen innen.

Variante B: Messing-Font vorhanden, Brenner fehlen bei allen drei Laternen.

Variante C: Holzstiel, historisch verschraubt.
