Description: In the Medieval era, these symbols were used to represent the power and energy of the sun. One of the most prominent sun cults was the cult of Sol Invictus, a sun god whose name translates as 'invincible sun.' This cult had a large following among the medieval elite, and its practices included worshiping the sun, burning incense, and sacrificing various animals to the sun god.

These patterns can be found in jewelry, clothing, and even coins, and were widely prevalent throughout medieval society.

Origin: Germany
Material: bronze / olive green patina.
Condition: excellent or usable.
Date: 11th to 13th centuries AD
Dimensions: inner diameter 19 mm.
Weight: 4.45 grams

Condition: perfect, with no repairs or alterations.
