Atmospheric antique copper colander with a beautiful hand-embossed flower motif on the bottom. The piece is equipped with a solid brass hanging ring, allowing it to also be hung on the wall as a decorative object.
The colander has a warm patina and visible signs of age that contribute to its authentic character. The pattern is carefully applied by hand, which is typical of artisanal kitchen objects from the 19th century.
Possible origin: France or Italy.
Such items were used in traditional kitchens and later often as wall decorations in rural interiors or wine cellars.
