Rare and antique Vietnamese treasure from Hoi An, pot No. 221111, dating from 1430-1480 AD.
Here is a fabulous object dating from between 1430 and 1480 AD. This lovely and delicate pot is a Ming dynasty pottery piece discovered in a shipwreck.
This fabulous medieval object was recovered from a Vietnamese cargo ship discovered in 1999 off Hoi An, Vietnam.
With its simple yet faded design, this lovely small porcelain pot measures approximately 3.2 cm in diameter at its widest point and 2.6 cm in height.
Please refer to the photos to compare its condition and dimensions. This lovely pot is in excellent condition for its age, with no chips, cracks, or restorations, knowing that it has been submerged in the cold, relentless waters of the ocean for centuries!
It shows some traces of immersion in the sea, with small deposits of limestone here and there.
The can is accompanied by an original authenticity label. It bears the number 241374.
