Set of Two Copper Candlesticks – Circa 1780–1820
An elegant set of two copper candlesticks, manufactured in the period circa 1780–1820. These atmospheric, early 19th-century pieces show the transition from late 18th-century elegance to the cleaner forms of neoclassicism. Their sober elegance and warm copper luster make them timeless interior pieces with historic character.
Description:
Period: circa 1780–1820
Material: solid copper, partly with traces of hand-turning
Design: classic baluster- or column-form model with round base and drip tray
Finish: warm red-gold sheen with well-developed patina
Condition:
In good, authentic condition with signs of use appropriate for age.
Small irregularities and color variations due to age and use.
