Rare antique terrestrial globe from the late 19th century (c. 1850–1900), made of metal, wood and paper, mounted on a turned wooden three‑leg stand with a meridian ring and metal bracket, produced by J. Felkl & Zoon and worked on by W.J. Geerling in Roztok, Prague.

Rare antique terrestrial globe, edited by W.J. Geerling and manufactured by J. Felkl & Zoon in Roztok (Prague), late 19th century. This beautiful globe shows the world as it was known around 1890, with detailed cartography and a fine patina that emphasizes its age.
The cardboard globe rests on a turned wooden tripod stand with three legs, black lacquered, equipped with a meridian ring and metal bracket. The wooden base shows signs of age and woodworm holes but has been professionally treated against woodworm. The globe itself features a beautiful, authentic aging with signs of use appropriate for its age.
A special piece for collectors of antique scientific instruments or enthusiasts of historical cartography.
