Superb small antique jejim from Anatolia, dating to about a century ago. Entirely hand-woven in wool, this fragment features a pattern of interlaced diamonds, typical of early 20th-century Anatolian nomadic weavings.
The tones – faded reds, deep browns, beiges and ochres – are obtained from natural plant dyes, offering a beautiful patina of use and a soft, authentic chromatic harmony.

The jejim (or cicim) was traditionally used by the Turkmen and Yörük tribes for wall hangings, bags, or nomadic furnishings. This small format suggests an ancient fragment carefully preserved, ideal for framing, textile display, or a collection.
