Harlemum vulgo Haerlem, a 1698 copper-engraved city map of Haarlem in bird's-eye view with buildings in elevation, published by F. de Wit and J. Folio format copper engraving with a city map of Haarlem in bird's-eye view perspective, with buildings depicted in relief. The city is shown behind the fortifications.

The title at the top, with the city coat of arms and the coat of arms of Holland on either side. Bottom left, a legend in a frame, numbered 1-69.

This map was first published by J. Blaeu in 1649. This edition was issued by Frederik de Wit, in his Stedenatlas: 'Perfecte Aftekeningen der steden van de XVII Nederlandsche provincies in plattegronden', Amsterdam 1698. Signed at the bottom right.

Excellent condition, folds as published, good margins, very beautiful specimen.
