Shrimp - Fossil mortality plate - Carpopenaeus callirostris anche nella parte posteriore - 118 mm - 94 mm

This original high-quality fossil slab contains Carpopenaeus Callirostris shrimp on both sides. On the front side, there is a shrimp surrounded by four others; on the back side, there is one. It comes from the HJOULA _LIBANO Upper Cretaceous deposit, dating back 96 million years.
This specimen is excellent for display; its matrix is intact. The fossil shrimp have a light pearl gray color when uncovered.
In this case, we left them in their natural state; only the antennas were improved through coloring for display and preservation purposes.
