I am offering for sale a pair of Aus Jena 8x30 binoculars, purchased in 1968 and carefully preserved. This model comes from the Zeiss Jena optical tradition (a Carl Zeiss Jena subsidiary), renowned for the quality of its lenses and the robustness of its construction. It is a precision instrument, prized for its image sharpness, contrast, and durability.
The lot includes the binoculars, their original hard case, and the original invoice dated February 9, 1968, from the Sorice company in Paris. The presence of the invoice makes the set particularly interesting for a collector, as it is rare to find these binoculars with their original purchase document after more than fifty years.
