Attention / Caution:
The locomotive was tested with a Märklin standard transformer/controller on K-track. All functions are partially operational; forward movement, stopping / switching to reverse, reverse movement, and lights illuminating on both sides.
Attention: After a short drive, the locomotive stops / the switch hums / then the switch shifts / the locomotive continues to run and/or hums continuously - repair is necessary here (cold solder joint, loose ground point, ...?)!
The couplings and buffers, as well as the bogies of the locomotive, are functioning.
The running characteristics are very good when the locomotive is in operation; the roll and coupling test was positive.
Before operating a plant, the locomotive should still undergo maintenance, such as checking the switch, inspecting the grounding points and cables, and, if necessary, repairing, oiling the axles, oiling the gearbox, oiling the gears, adjusting the couplings, and inspecting and replacing the traction tires if needed.
