These ruby crystals are 'finished,' meaning they have an unbroken point, and for some, 'double finished,' meaning both points are unbroken. This is rare and of great value.
These ruby crystals (corundum) come from Mauritania, (Tiris Zemmour region), approximately 100 km northeast of the city of Zouerate.
I found these rubies during explorations and reconnaissance in the desert with the aim of offering stays for mineral enthusiasts and gold prospectors.
I present them as I discovered them; I have not subjected them to any thermal or chemical treatment, just a cleaning with soapy water.
All photos are taken in natural daylight.
For some of them, I placed the rubies on a light source, the flashlight of my mobile phone or a lamp.
I photographed these gems as sincerely and precisely as possible using daylight.
Please note that differences in screen settings and ambient lighting can lead to variations in perceived color, saturation, and tone.
The rubies you will receive are of course those in the photos.
I send a secure and discreet quick shipment in a tear-proof C5 envelope (162mm x 229mm) via French La Poste registered mail.
