Description from the seller
A themed collection consisting of 23 beer glasses of various types and brands, plus 14 coasters. Includes two sets of 6, a Boot, an Italian Tulip Stauder from the 1980s, and other vintage pieces.
In detail
- 6 Boccali Heineken vintage of 0.25l each. With a heavy worked bottom, ideal for freezing (-20°C).
- 6 Weizen Buckler of 0.25l. Per Weiss (wheat) beer.
- 3 Tulip Sans Souci Moretti glasses, 0.2L each, for complex beers.
- 1 boot (boot) Dreher of 0.50L. To challenge the trabocco. 1968-74.
The Dreher logo is the one designed by Bob Noorda* (Unimark International) in 1966. The boot belongs to the period before the acquisition by Heineken in 1974-75.
- 1 Tulip compatto Stauder from 0.25l. Rare Italian merchandising of the prestigious German regional beer.
The silkscreened slogan is 'Stauder is the exclusive German beer' (in Italian). This first attempt to enter the Italian market dates back to the 1980s; it was brief and left few traces (a few silkscreened mirrors with the aforementioned slogan).
- 1 Weihenstephan Weizen with 0.25 liters, served in a svasato glass. The oldest brewery in the world (1040).
- 1 Weizen Franziskaner 0.50L.
- 1 Pilsner Kulmbacher of 0.20L. For light beers.
- 1 Weizen Adelscott 0.25l flared. To enhance the malt aromas.
- 0.30l McFarland Rossa glass. More suitable for trappist beers than for an Irish Red Ale.
- 1 beer mug of 0.25l. Silkscreened in black with mining scenes.
- 14 coasters from Europe featuring well-known and lesser-known brands. Late 20th century.
The condition of the glasses and the silkscreened logos is excellent; each piece is documented in the gallery.

Happy bidding.
Note:
Bob Noorda, a maestro of modernist graphics, created the first complete brand identity project for Dreher in the beer sector.
