Anon. - Ethiopische Geʽez psalterium/bijbel op perkamenten bladen - 1700

Ethiopian Bible/Psalterium? in handwritten black and red (classic?) Geʽez on 189 (=378 pages) parchment leaves, contained in a binding with wooden boards and (later?) leather spine. 18th century, 17 x 15 x 9 cm.
Seems to consist of two parts.

Reasonable/moderate condition. Heavily used. Back cover split and tied with string. Restorations: side margin of 3 pages, corner of a few pages, some stitches. Interior pages discolored, lower margin stained, first and last 3 pages heavily browned, loss of parchment here and there, edges of several pages frayed. Tear(s) in margin(s) of several pages. One page almost torn in half, holes in 2 pages, scratched with a pen on 2 pages. Chip from margin of several pages. All pages photographed for a clear impression; these photos are an integral part of the description.
