Ancient 18th-century engraving by Capparulli, depicting the Roman provinces of Pannonia, Mesia, Dacia, and Illyricum, territories that today correspond to a large area of Central and Eastern Europe. The panel, enriched with a baroque figurative cartouche, belongs to the tradition of historical atlases produced in Italy in the first half of the 18th century.
