Nephrite is a variety of jade. The name 'Nephrite Jade' originates from Spanish and means 'kidney stone' or 'lumbar stone.' The Maya and Olmec civilizations attributed positive effects to nephrite on the kidneys and body detoxification. Indigenous peoples of South America, particularly the Maya and Olmecs, used nephrite to create valuable art objects and statues. Nephrite is believed to have its most significant effects on the heart chakra.
These nephrite jade gemstones are crafted into spheres here. As each stone is unique, variations in color, texture, and size may occur.
Origins: Parwan Province, Afghanistan.
