AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Beautiful rare hand-painted gin and/or liqueur bottle in very good condition. On the front, there is a portrait of Jacobus Bartholomeus Boll. It has no stopper. It does not bear a factory mark, but it dates from the early 1900s and was made by a very reputable factory, possibly Purmerend, Porceleyne Fles, or Plateelbakkerij Delft. It is 23.5 cm high and 10.5 cm wide at the neck. The jug features a charming inscription on the body that, translated from old Dutch, reads: 'Speak what is true, Eat what is cooked, Drink what is ready.' The neck bears the inscription 'Look what is on the bottom,' where the distillery's mark is also located.
