Beautiful Fossil Slab with Dactylioceras commune – Holzmaden, Germany
An elegant shale slab from the famous Holzmaden locality (Posidonia Shale, Lower Jurassic – Toarcian, approx. 182 million years old).
The main fossil is a large Dactylioceras commune, measuring approximately 18 × 16 cm, accompanied by several smaller ammonites scattered across the surface.
The preservation is characteristic of the Holzmaden formation, with clearly visible details and a naturally decorative appearance.
The slab comes with a metal display stand, perfect for showcasing the piece.
A striking and highly decorative specimen, ideal for collectors or as a refined natural history display piece.
