■Description
This lot consists of two original Mini Monchhichi Collectibles figures from around 1981, manufactured by Mattel in Hong Kong under license from Sekiguchi. Both figures are still in their original blister packaging.

The backing cards show the copyrights “Sekiguchi (1974)” and “Mattel (1981)”, indicating that these are part of the early 1980s overseas Mini Monchhichi carded series. Examples that still have the original cards and unopened bubbles are getting increasingly hard to find.

One figure features Monchhichi in a white cap and outfit, and the other in a red cap with an “M” logo shirt. Each has a different pose and expression, with bright colours that are very typical of early 1980s Monchhichi design. The cards are printed with “The Original Mini Monchhichi Collectibles – 18 pint-sized Monchhichis, collect them all!”, making these two pieces part of that 18-figure line.

The backing cards show age-related wear such as edge wear, small creases, tape residue and some fading, but the blisters remain sealed and the figures inside are unopened. Please check the photos carefully for the exact condition.

A great opportunity for dedicated Monchhichi fans and vintage toy collectors to add two charming early-1980s pieces to their collection.
