Description from the seller
Set of 9 blown-out decorative eggs – various bird species
Originating from the atelier collection of artist Ronald Raaijmakers (1949–2019).
Beautiful, characterful collection of blown eggs, used for years as models in the still lifes of artist Ronald Raaijmakers. The set consists of 9 eggs in various sizes, colors, and textures (the small chicken egg in the middle of some photos was only used for scale and is not included).
The collection includes, among other things:
A very large, elongated white egg — probably from a large waterbird such as a swan or a goose breed.
Large gray-green running bird egg – typical of rhea/nandoe-type eggs.
Two large white, smooth eggs – probably from waterfowl of the goose or swan type.
Two spotted, cream-brown eggs – decorative eggs from a medium-sized bird species.
One small brown speckled egg
One small beige egg
All eggs are professionally blown, dry, and odorless. They show minor signs of age and studio wear, consistent with their long-standing use as painting tools.
Origin
This egg collection was part of Ronald Raaijmakers's regular still life collection for many years. He is known for his meticulous and balanced compositions. The eggs come directly from his studio.
Condition:
Generally very good, with some minor signs of use or natural imperfections.
No cracks or unstable shells.
Chicken egg in photos is not included.
Formats:
Ranging from small (approx. 4–5 cm) to very large (approx. 13 - 14+ cm).
Please see the photos for a clear idea of the scale ratios.
Will be packed with care.
Please note that you are responsible for customs as far as bringing them in + TAX if necessary.
