This is a beautiful bronze amulet/talisman decorated with a magical pentagram.
The pentagram symbol is often associated with mystical worship and rituals. It was also used to ward off magic and evil spirits.
Origin: Germany
Bronze
Date, 9th to 11th centuries AD
Period/culture: Medieval
Condition: Very good-looking Patina - See photos.
Measures: Interior 15 mm
Weight: 3 grams
Origin:
Acquired by the current owner in 2004 in Vienna, Austria, at the Art and Antiques Fair.
Collected since: 1980.
Previous owners' history: former private collection of an Austrian collector.
The seller will ensure that all necessary permits are processed.
No shipments are made outside the EU.
