France, Gold Medal 1900, "Allegory of Love," an exceptional gilt bronze half-moon clock with two semicircular platforms supported by four Carrara white marble columns, in the pure style of King Louis XVI of France.
- Extremely rare gilt bronze pendulum featuring musical instruments: harp, flute, oboe, and tambourine.
- A pair of doves on rose foliage, a large semicircular beaded floral frieze, a wide olive leaf frieze encircled by a ribbon bow, four columns surmounted by four bouquets of roses. This clock is raised on four adjustable circular gilt bronze feet.
- Eight-day key-wound movement stamped "Gold Medal 1900" with striking on the hour and half-hour, in working order and striking function, with key and balance wheel. Polychrome domed dial with floral design and hour markers, bronze case with domed glass, pair of finely chiseled and openworked bronze hands.
