A solid wood column/plant stand made in the Netherlands, dating from around the mid-20th century (1950–1970), in an antique neoclassical style with a dark brown finish, height 96 cm, foot diameter 31 cm, weight about 5.5 kg, in good condition with minor signs of aging and small stains.

This stylish wooden pillar is a beautiful decorative object that fits perfectly in both classic and modern interiors. It is ideal for displaying a bust, vase, plant, or art object.
Description:
This column is crafted in the Netherlands from solid wood, presumably dark-stained beech or mahogany, and features a warm, deep brown color with a beautiful gloss. The pillar has an elegant construction: a round, weighted base with three wooden discs at the bottom, a turned and faceted shaft, and an octagonal platform.
The plateau is slightly curved due to the natural properties of the wood, but this does not detract from the piece's sturdiness and classic charm.
