Decorative ornament - Buddhist stupa - Myanmar

This object is an hti (Buddhist stupa), the characteristic decorative umbrella shape found at the top of Buddhist temples. This particular piece is an antique and authentic, originating from the Mandalay region and dating back to around the 19th century (1800).
