Description from the seller

The object in the image is a vintage electric toaster produced by the Italian company LESA (Laboratori Elettrotecnici Società Anonima).
Founded in Italy, LESA went through the post-war period, surviving the bombings of 1943.
The company has begun reconstruction and expansion, opening new plants in Tradate (for hi-fi and components) and Saronno (for appliances).
In 1946, the company became a joint-stock company with the new business name 'LESA Costruzioni Elettromeccaniche'.
The production of household appliances, such as this toaster, was part of the company's wide range of products.
