This extraordinary sphere made of agate and quartz fascinates with its exciting interplay of closed and open structure.
The polished outer skin displays creamy white to beige-grey base tones with brown and golden markings, typical of Indonesian agate, giving the sphere a warm, earthy character.
The special highlight are the two exposed geode zones:
One side offers a view of dense, shiny crystal needles and points in dark tones — presumably quartz crystals coated with hematite or manganese oxide — which stand in attractive contrast to the bright agate matrix.
The other side shows clear to honey-colored quartz crystals of high transparency, which sparkle with light and give the sphere an elegant, vibrant appearance.
This sphere combines the calm, grounding power of agate with the clarifying and energetically light effect of quartz. Its natural richness of structure and the unexpected glimpses into its crystalline interior make it a fascinating showpiece and a truly unique piece.
