This extraordinary Septarien sphere combines the striking aesthetics of fossilized cracks with a spectacular interior: the front opens to a sparkling druse, whose crystalline surface shimmers in dark glimmer and finely glistening calcite and aragonite crystals. Particularly remarkable is the loose, precisely fitting lid – the sphere can be resealed, allowing a fascinating transition between a closed, mysterious appearance and an exposed interior.
The exterior displays the characteristic structure of septarians, with light brown, polished sediment surfaces, traversed by dark, net-like crack lines that create an impressive pattern. When closed, the sphere appears like a mystical rock hiding its interior – when opened, it reveals a brilliant interplay of texture, depth, and natural crystal formation.
