AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Rare and superb pair of large vases in glazed and crackled earthenware from the LONGWY Manufacture, featuring motifs of birds, waves, and abstract polychrome forms on an ivory background, in the purest Art Deco style, in a limited and numbered edition.

A very massive and elegant baluster form (form number 3015 on the back of each vase).
Signed with the blue-ink stamp of the Huart coat of arms and two Lorraine crosses, as well as the mentions "Decorated by hand", "Emaux de Longwy", "Depuis 1798", and "Made in France" which indicate a manufacturing period dating from 1989 (see Dominique Dreyfus's raisonné); note also the mention "Reproduction interdite".
This is therefore a very limited reissue, capped at 150 copies for the entire set of vases.
This pair is marked on the reverse with no. 12/150 for one of them, and no. 17/150 for the other; these are pieces known as 'head' pieces.
Here is what makes these vases rare, especially since they come in a pair and are in excellent condition.
It should also be noted that large, high-quality pieces (over 35 cm tall) from Longwy are rare, highly sought after by collectors, and highly valued.

Excellent condition, like new for both items: no chips, no hairlines, no missing parts, no restorations.

The photos are an integral part of the description.

Dimensions approximately in cm:

Height 36 cm
Width of the girth (widest point): 19 cm
Diameter of the neck 12.5 cm
Base diameter 19 cm
Weight is approximately 5200 grams (5.2 kilograms) for the pair.
Note: because each item is entirely handcrafted by hand, there may be tiny differences in size and color between vases, which gives them their authenticity and charm.

Shipping:

Very careful and secure shipment via COLISSIMO from France, registered with insurance up to the purchase price, and tracking with signature required, within 72 hours following payment.
Shipping time of 2 to 15 days depending on the destination country.

The transportation cost takes into account the volume, weight, value for insurance, the fragility of the object, the use of a professional packing box, and the necessary internal padding (bubble wrap, packing chips...).
Please make sure to carefully check the contents of the package in the presence of the delivery person. Otherwise, if the contents are broken, the insurance may not cover the damages.
