2. This Is War. Bantam Books, 1967. (reissue) About 200 pages and numerous black and white photographs, paperback edition with illustrated cover.

David Douglas Duncan (1916–2018) was an American war photojournalist. An officer in the Marines, he covered the Pacific War, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. He was an embedded photographer and took pictures alongside American troops. He protested against American casualties among soldiers but did not take steps to photograph Vietnamese victims. 'This is war' is an earlier book, initially published in 1951, about the Korean War.
Copies in good overall condition with inevitable signs of aging (yellowing of the paper). Books from my personal collection are kept with the utmost care.
