Description from the seller

Rare imperial turret clock, made at the beginning of the 19th century and signed by the French watchmaker Lesieur.
In excellent overall condition, it works perfectly.
Features of the Watch
It is a small tabletop clock with four columns and capitals in gilded bronze in the Ionic style, made of bronze and mahogany veneer wood. The movement is French with a pendulum, striking the hours and half-hours, with an eight-day power reserve.
Lesieur and his workshop:
The watchmaker is identified as François-Eugène Lesieur, whose workshop was located on Rue de la Verrerie in Paris around 1830. His post-mortem inventory is preserved in the National Archives.
The watch also bears the signature of the merchant Vautier (Vacher) Boul(evard) des Italiens No. 11, located in the heart of Paris, in a district historically associated with the trade of arts and crafts.
The clock is accompanied by its original key and a bell sound. It originally included a glass bell on the base, which broke over time.
