Carabagh: hand-knotted carpets originating from the extreme south of the Caucasus. They often feature geometric patterns, but also stylized floral motifs inspired by Iran, where roses and flowers in the French style are common. These carpets frequently have a double row of knots between the warp threads. Crimson red velvet is also common.
Karabakh carpets are characterized by their thick, high, and fluffy pile. These carpets are distinguished by their bright and cheerful colors.
