Enamelled Bronze Russian Orthodox Icon – Three Holy Bishops – 19th Century
Dimensions: 11 × 9.5 cm
Material: cast bronze with multicolored enamels (blue, white, green).

Beautiful 19th-century Russian Orthodox icon, crafted in cast bronze and enriched with well-preserved polychrome enamels. It depicts three important saints bishops of the Russian tradition: Saint Nicholas, Saint John, and Saint Gregory/Basil, arranged frontally with their liturgical attributes.
The outer frame is decorated with a refined blue and white enamel motif, while the background features green and azure enamels typical of 19th-century Russian workshops. At the top, Christ blessing appears within a medallion, supported by angelic figures.
Clear reliefs, original enamels, and an even patina. The back bears a provenance label from a private collection, an element that confirms its authenticity and preservation.
