Provenance: collected in Korhogo in northern Ivory Coast.
The Senufo or Senufo people live between Côte d'Ivoire, Mali, and Burkina Faso. They mainly live off agriculture but also hunting. Their villages are governed by a council of elders. The Poro society is fundamental to the cohesion of the tribe.
