Antoine-Marie de Tonduti de l'Escarène was a high-ranking official and aristocrat from Nice (County of Nice).
An influential career: After serving France as an administrator during the Revolution and the Empire, where he was made Count of the Empire by Napoleon I.
The Restoration: At the fall of Napoleon, he was honored by the Kingdom of Sardinia and became Marquis of L'Escarène, holding the high office of Minister of State at the Court of Turin.
