Description from the seller

Railbus 798 with control car 998.6 DB IV.

"The savior of branch lines" was the nickname given to the VT. The PIKO models of the locomotive and control car embody, like their DB prototypes, clear, functionally reliable, and low-maintenance constructions. The locomotive model is powered by a small motor, which is equipped with two relatively large, precisely dimensioned flywheels to ensure smooth operation. The drive affects both axles. Since the locomotive and control car can be coupled via a current-conducting magnetic coupling mechanism, two additional (and thus four) axles can be used for reliable power pickup when operating with a control car. The locomotive features a PluX16 digital interface according to NEM 658. The lighting functions of both vehicles can be switched separately. Despite the structural features of the locomotive and control car, a clear view through the passenger compartments is possible. The locomotive can also be used as a prototype for a locomotive unit to haul individual freight cars.

Function perfectly tested!!
