Shoji Ueda Sketch Album" is a collection of photographs by Japanese photographer Shoji Ueda. At a time when many photographers active in the postwar era were traveling around the world, Shoji Ueda looked up to his hometown of Tottori as the place of his life, and continued to search for avant-garde photographic expression while incorporating the climate, climate, and culture of the region. His works are rich in originality and light Japanese sentiment, and his numerous modern illustrations, which are still relevant today, have been described as “UEDA-CHO” (Ueda style) and have been highly acclaimed worldwide. Ueda's first trip abroad in 1972 was to Europe, where he took many pictures with a burning desire to photograph. The book is edited from nearly 1,000 photographs taken over a period of two years.
