In Bronze Age Bactria, there were not only ceremonial chalices, but also everyday terracotta vessels used for drinking and serving liquids. These included straight bowls, cylindrical cups, hemispherical bowls, cups with handles, and undecorated clay vessels. They were more resistant, simple, and practical, designed for everyday use, in contrast to the stylized ritual cups.
