Signed; Sophie Calle - M'as tu vue - 2003

Since the early 1980s, Sophie Calle has pursued a body of work in which she stages her own life and revives it through multiple challenges. Shadowing, investigations, role-playing, self-imposed constraints – all are adventurous situations recorded in the form of notes and photographs, through which the artist explores themes of intimacy and the relationship to others.

Curated by Christine Macel, who organized the exhibition devoted to Sophie Calle at the Centre Pompidou in 2003–2004, M’as-tu vue? is the first book to address all of the artist’s themes. Essays by Olivier Rolin and Yve-Alain Bois, together with a contribution from Damien Hirst, accompany a collection of more than 500 images.
